We were very pleasantly surprised today. We were supposed to have a high of 96F but it never got past 81F, which is a BIG relief! Sunny skies all day.

What? No rain today? Whew 😀
Lots of flood watch and warnings posted throughout the greater Wash.DC area.

Supposed to be partly sunny with high 87F.

Wish there was a pipeline wherein excess rain waters would drain and go out west where they have major drought.

Here on the Texas South Plains we're finally getting some moisture in the form of very light rain this morning. The temperature is in the mid 70°s F and the RH is a bit over 50%. The are dogs are loving it but no doubt the postman will have to drive in his 4x4 today.

I called my wife at Albuquerque this morning to wish her a happy birthday and she tells me it has been raining there off and on for the past few days.

Bad weather for swamp coolers but good weather for crops.

Another pleasant surprise today. We were supposed to get a high of 87F but it only got up to 76F, with a nice breeze and sunny skies. No complaint from me!

Warm and dry. Not unbearably hot by any means. Low 80's for the high. Low 59° tonight

Right now at 10:15 pm., it's about 68F, with clear skies.

Got the lawn and weed whacking done right before a rain storm.
