We had a few moments of rain a couple of times but not enough to settle the dust. Just enough the forecaster could say, "See I told you so".... I didn't get much done as it was just to hot to handle....

The Texas South Plains seem to stay under a "Red Flag Warning" anymore and we are currently under another one today.

It reached 94°F today but tonight it is supposed to get down to 54°F with generally clear skies with gusty winds from the SE shifting to the NE at 20 to 30 mph. Higher wind gusts are possible.

And local farmers still need rain.

At least we can be thankful that we've not yet had any nearby grassland fires; that I am aware of.

It was mostly overcast but the sun did peek out a couple of times in the afternoon. High of 68F.

More clouds than sun. Upper 80s, feels like mid 90s. The front hasn't pushed through yet.

ETA, lo 90s, feels like hi 90s.

The temp got pushed back to around 80° by a nice rain shower. Our chances of more remain good for the next 2 days.
