In my area of western Colorado we're looking at a healthy system coming in tomorrow morning. Rain/snow in the Grand Junction area. The Continental Divide is always the factor when it comes to big storms in Colorado. 2-3 ft. in Grand Junction
is forecast but Colorado's foothills from Colorado Springs to Fort Collins--2-3 ft. and the eastern plains including the panhandles, well look out Nelly, here it comes. Seriously. This low pressure over eastern Utah is moving slowly and churning plenty. They are warning people who live from the mountain passes to the Kansas border to have the refrigerator stocked and stay home on Sunday AND Monday. Setting a record?' Maybe not, but yep, gonna get real active soon.
I guess we had multiple tornadoes in this area yesterday? When my smart phone warned me to seek shelter a little after 5:00 pm yesterday I was about two mile outside of Abernathy, Texas where one was supposedly seen. The news today is reporting that four tornado warnings were issued yesterday.
