I wonder if any of you ever milked a cow??? I did, for many years, and if the cow was hobbled it certainly could have fallen on the man. It would be a rare thing, but totally possible. Also, the cow may have an ailment that caused it to fall.
I don't understand the sarcastic remark by the OP .

I haven't milked a cow. That's why I was asking. I should add some background on this... we've had a few people arrested for trespassing onto farms and participating in unlawful acts with animals. It's not the first time I've seen it (particularly in the area mentioned in the article). It could be that this man was innocently milking a cow but I wonder why he chose to remain anonymous? Something he was embarrassed about? I don't know but it makes me wonder.
Maybe it was a "white russian"?
Seriously, I've milked and the guy Is glad to be alive. I'm sure, and doesn't want his herd or family or land disturbed by muckracking reporters so wants aninimity.
I don't know anything about milking cows, but I tried it one time and it turned out to be a bull... and he wasn't very happy.. I guess you might say.. he had a cow!
