Thank you everyone for all the well wishes for a safe trip.

DH left FL yesterday at 11:30 to head home to TN. We were supposed to stop at a campground for the night and then show up to our house during the day. Well that didn't quite work out.

At 11:30 last night we were at the bottom of the mountain heading up...oops the road was closed due to construction until 5:00 am this morning. So we turned around and parked it at a Wal-Mart. Not many options where we were and it was a lousy 4 hours.

We made it to our property in the dark early this morning We were pleasantly surprised after being gone so long. The road is in good shape, our solar panels are still on top of our shipping container on top of the mountain. I was afraid the whole container got blown over when we heard they had 80 MPH winds here. The house was just as we left it plus a few dead flies DH got our 1200 gallon water tank cleaned out and re filled. We have water and our electric is charging. Oh yeah...and my wonderful hubby got me back on-line

Our cows have 2 new babies and I can't wait to meet them. My DH's turkeys came to visit which made him very happy they didn't get shot this year. And he just spotted deer on the hill

Anyway, thanks again for the well wishes. We are home and exhausted. Oh yeah and I can finally drive after 6 months of not driving in FL

I'll catch up with everyone as soon as my mind is back to functioning clearly
