Today's Question:

I really really need a holiday!

I did,did you Question:

Ok lol how many of you sent the link on "how to type upside down" or sent a upside down message to friends or family not on CD ?

Not me. Yet

Bonus Question:

Do you have any unusual numbers in your cell phone contact list ?
(ie: favorite restaurants.repair folks etc )

A few "unusual" in that I should delete them as they are totally irrelevant now (old contacts for previous trips in overseas countries). Other ones that might be unusual: the place that does 'eyebrow threading', the Indian restaurant we like to get take out from, Roadside Assistance (AAA), etc.

Extra Credit Question:

Have you ever tried:
Water skiing ? Yes
Snow skiing ? Yes
Snowmobileing ? No, but would love to!
Going the wrong way up an Escalator ? Back when I was a silly teenager.
Pushing more than one floor button on an Elevator ? Yes!

Just for Fun:

Are you a Sybarite ? No. I don't mind hard work and getting my hands dirty.
Unusual things you have used a paperclip for ? Picking a lock. Didn't work!
How are you at using Chop Sticks ? Very good.

Today in History:
1900 - Trademark "Escalator" registered by Otis Elevator Co Good old Otis. We have them here in Oz. They're called "lifts" here.
1911 - 1st running of Indianapolis 500
1912 - 15 young women fired by Curtis Publishing for dancing "Turkey Trot" during their lunch break That's a bit harsh!
1942 - The biggest selling record of all time was recorded. "White Christmas", was recorded by Bing Crosby for Decca Records. More than 30-million copies of Crosby’s have been sold and a total of nearly 70-million copies, including all versions of the standard, have been sold. Great song, great voice. Play it every Christmas!
1967 - Australian Paul McManus water skis barefoot for 1:30:19

Word of the Day:
sybarite \SIB-uh-ryt\ , noun:
A person devoted to luxury and pleasure.

Today is:
National Coq Au Vin Day Never had this, never made this but sounds good.
Honor your Ancestors Day
Paper Clip Day
Pink Flamingo Day

Today's Question:

I really really need about 10 hours worth of uninterrupted sleep

I did,did you Question:

Ok lol how many of you sent the link on "how to type upside down" or sent a upside down message to friends or family not on CD ? Not I, but maybe the next attorney I write about a contract or someone I'm PO'd at, I'll type the email upside down lol Thanks for the idea Karla

Bonus Question:

Do you have any unusual numbers in your cell phone contact list ?
(ie: favorite restaurants.repair folks etc ) For me service providers aren't unusual to store, as it makes it handy to call them from wherever. Now when cleaning up/out my contact list of stored names/numbers, I do keep people I really never ever want to talk to again so caller ID shows it's them calling and I don't pick up - and they don't leave a VM = Win/Win

Extra Credit Question:

Have you ever tried:
Water skiing ? Once - let go of the bar/rope when you fall or you'll almost drown
Snow skiing ? Once and had 5 year olds laughing at me when they passed me on the bunny hill
Snowmobileing ? Now this I loved and did as much as possible. Nothing like zooming around through the snow. Really only snow sport I enjoyed.
Going the wrong way up an Escalator ? when much, much younger
Pushing more than one floor button on an Elevator ? this too, though after I became an adult and had a kid do it to one I was riding in I realized how annoying it was to the other people in the elevator. Needless to say my DS learned early it wasn't a nice thing to do to others.

Just for Fun:

Are you a Sybarite ? No
Unusual things you have used a paperclip for ?
How are you at using Chop Sticks ? Can't and always hated having to ask for a fork when everyone else at the table, including my DS, could use them.

Today in History:
1900 - Trademark "Escalator" registered by Otis Elevator Co
1912 - 15 young women fired by Curtis Publishing for dancing "Turkey Trot" during their lunch break Geesh, it was their lunch break not when they were supposed to be working
1942 - The biggest selling record of all time was recorded. "White Christmas", was recorded by Bing Crosby for Decca Records. More than 30-million copies of Crosby’s have been sold and a total of nearly 70-million copies, including all versions of the standard, have been sold.

Today is:
Honor your Ancestors Day
Paper Clip Day well if I honor them then will have to appease the stapler, ruler and every other office supply, so to avoid controversy think I'll pass
Pink Flamingo Day Live ones beautiful, plastic ones in front yards
Hope everyone enjoys their Memorial Day weekend.
