And whats the difference between talking on a cell phone out in public and talking to another person out in public???
ITS TALKING....either way!!!!
Call me old fashioned but when you are with another person it's customary to converse and enjoy each other's company. I find it sad that so many people feel the need to constantly be on the phone. It's like they can't handle being alone, or can't handle the solitude of their own company or just enjoy their surroundings and live in the moment. I especially dislike the Blue tooths. Don't people realize that when they walk around talking on those things they just look like a crazy person?
I'm not talking about a quick call to check on something, or about the doctor who is on call and needs his phone with him or even texting (since that is private). Just the people who constantly need to be on their phones walking (or driving) around in a daze chatting away who seem totally disconnected from and oblivious to their surroundings.
It is so disturbing to go to a restaurant nowdays to have a dinner, with people allowing their kids to hang from the chandeliers. Just wondering what has happened to our society that has become so out of control................
I really don't see this type of behavior at restaurants.
Now Wal-Marts, on the other hand...that's a different story.
Sometime you can't help but stop at a restaurant to eat with you children. Even though we teach our children manners our children are taught in school and told by friends that parents can go so far before DCF is called in or the police. People in public places have called the authorities on parents.
Now if it were my children, I would of gotten to there level and in a stern voice told them to CUT OUT THERE CRAP!!!!!!!
Now Wal-Marts, on the other hand...that's a different story.
Yeah, what's up with that? Walmart and Costco are the few places where I've seen kids completely melt down. Mine did that in the checkout line at Costco once, and we left. The once or twice a year I run in to Walmart at midnight the night before baseball season starts I always see some poor kid being dragged around screaming its head off, or even better the ones that are obviously sick coughing up a storm.
Statements like this always make me think of this quote:
"I was a perfect parent until I had children."
Children IMO pollute the world, but such is life. We have to tolerate things we don't like.
