Question:
Do ya'll let your kids have TV's in their rooms? My 10 year old is upset with me because I won't allow it. Just wondering what you all think of that..am I being unreasonable?
Strawflower...ya know....we never let our kids have "TV"...but...my 17 yo does have a television (old, he bought himself for about $50 at walmart) in his room...unforturtunately for him though, no cable and it doesn't get any channels...He will pop in a movie from time to time on weekends. That's about all it's good for. That worked for us.
Personally, I don't think it's unreasonable at all. I would imagine that most 10 yr old would disagree though!
Merry Christmas everyone. Hope you all had a nice day.
We made homemade gifts for each other this year. My son may me a coupon book for each month with 4 punches each for cleaning bathroom, vacuuming house, making dinner and cleaning litter boxes! Pretty darn good. I've got it made for a year!
strawflower - we've never allowed a t.v. in our son's room. That being said, now that he's older and has his own computer, he does watch stuff on that. He is also 17 though.
