((((((Cheerbaby)))))) It's so awful when they get sick at such a young age....and yes, there is no sleep for mommy, that's for sure. Hope he gets better fast!

Good morning ladies!

Dew....I am so jealous! Oh my gosh, is there anything more wondrous and adorable than an uncoordinated, long-legged, gangly new foal? LOL Awwww Of course, driving past a field of new born calves with their mommies does something to my heart strings. I remember growing up, spring and early summer, all the new babies being born...waking up in every morning to see if a cow had had her calf yet, if the sows had popped out their litters overnight....LOL..if a momma duck had a little brood of yellow waddlers behind her. Sigh.....

Yes, Cheerbaby! I hope the wee one feels better soon. And I hope you are doing OK too!

Cows: Growing up our house was near a dairy. Whenever my dad drove by he used to wave at all the cows and shout, "Hi, ya Girls!"

We went to the Renaissance Fair today. Only stayed a few hours because it was getting pretty warm. Had a good time. One act was a fellow who walked across a rope, then stood on a chair balanced on the rope. He juggled a chain saw, an apple, and a flaming torch and told a lot of corny jokes. I'm a sucker for that kind of stuff and made DH put a little something in the guy's tip jar.

The crowd is always interesting at those. We must have the few Renaissance Fairs with real, live cowboys and Indians in attendance. Plus it's an a place called Apache Junction. How cool is that?

Hey Dew....it's so windy here today! I just hate it - because I can hear it in the house. I've been cleaning and doing laundry today. DS leaves for Florida tomorrow on a trip with his lacrosse team. He's very excited. Speaking of which...I haven't seen Momma_bear on here for quite some time. Hope all is well with her and that they just have better things to do than hang out here LOL!

Does anyone else hate sleeping in bed with their SO? I had my "interest" sleep over last night and I swear it spend the whole night on the edge of the bed. Today I am so tired.

You get used to it...but I'll admit, when DH is out of town, I really really love having the whole bed to myself. He doesn't go out of town often...When the kids were little he'd go for 2 nights about once a month. The kids and I had cut up fruit and popcorn for dinner while we watched movies on the VCR (LOL)...then, I got the whole bed to myself. It was a nice little break - no cooking and the whole bed!
