Well, 4 weeks post surgery and STILL haven't received any short term disability payments even though I made sure to submit paperwork well enough ahead of my surgery. Company is just NOW requesting documents from my surgeon even though they spoke to them 7 days after my surgery- while I was in the office!! GGGRRR. I go back to work on the 5th of June- what is the point of STD payments if you get the money AFTER you return to work!!
Oh, that's frustrating! I mean, better late than never, but it's not like it's helpful immediately right now.
