Thanks for posting that. My oldest is starting her senior year this year. I think I'm going to make it a point to remember each and every day. Even the drama days.... A year from now she may be gone. Where did 18 years go? It seems like a lifetime and a blink of an eye at the same time. It's her lifetime and a blink of an eye for me. It'll really hit when her sister leaves in three years. Children are only loaned to us for a while...then we have to let them go.

Yes. Exactly.

I took my youngest to school last weekend. It's not the same around here. As a parent it's bittersweet because you know it's good for them and what you've been working toward. But it's also difficult.

Well, cheer up! If things continue the way they are, we won't be able to afford college, and they will never leave home, anyways! There's always a silver lining!
