Considering there is strict discipline in other things you can do in uniform such as eating, holding hands even with your wife, etc. is a female soldier breast feeding in uniform acceptable?
Really interesting article and an interesting question.

Do you have the same reaction to little tiny bathing suit tops? Tube tops? Etc.?

Because if not, than you are objecting to nipples, not breasts. And unless you have the same reaction to topless nipple baring men, why the objection to the tiny portion of nipple seen in that photo?

While in college I worked at a chain camera store that also did photo processing. The official rule was photos showing any "inappropriate" nudity would not be printed. The regional manager interpreted that to mean absolutely no photos with any nudity could be printed- no matter what the age of the person being photographed - including infants. I interpreted to mean that we could print tastefully done nude photographs. So when I was working the photo processor I would print photos of mothers breast-feeding their kids. I printed pictures of bare-breasted women taken on beaches as well. I remember one instance where this gentleman came into the store to drop off a couple rolls of film and as he handed me them he said that they were taken at Mardi Gras in New Orleans and there were some nude photos. I told him as long as they were "tasteful" I would print them. There were shots in one of those rolls obviously taken at an all-nude party. I printed them.

But, believe me, there were PLENTY of instances where I refused to print pictures. It boggles my mind that people would even want to photograph themselves and others doing the things I saw on those negatives... And the people bringing them in? If you saw them on the street you would never even guess the things that they were doing and photographing. At another store in that chain in a neighboring city, they even called the police on someone who had brought in a roll of film to develop because there were minors involved.
