1). why did you decide to have children? were they accidental? how old were you when you had them?
2). how many children do you have? what are their ages?
3). had you thought of how their lives would be like prior to their conception, things like:
if they would be happy, like if they would grow up regretting their birth? If they would get cancer, or have their legs/face/arms blown off in a war they were forced to fight in? If they would be forced to endure the next war?
4). what would you do if your children ends up regretting their birth, and wishes to commit suicide? Would you help them attain the right to die (I think Belgium is granting their citizens, after a many many many tests and therapy sessions, to attain the right to die).
They're closer to the ground for a while so if we dropped anything or if something fell, it was just easier for them to pick it up instead of us bending down.
And they're like your own little minions. Who doesn't want minions??
Ours were a surprise (twins). Had not planned on having kids, and I was probably the least supportive husband during her pregnancy.......which I regret very much...........I was basically a selfish jerk about it.
But the moment my two sons were born, my life changed in an instant, and for the better. Suddenly, I had purpose in life and a reason to clean up my act. I had two little guys who thought the world of me, and I of them, and I needed to set as good of an example as I could, and be the best dad I could.
Today, 46 years later, we are still best friends, see each other, or speak to each other, every day. God steered me in this direction, and my life would have been totally different and unfulfilled , if they had not come into my life. Sometimes fate takes our lives in paths we had not planned, for which I am eternally grateful.
Does anyone else find the OP's username incredibly amusing, under the circumstances?
