I changed it to the name I had been using for several years. I changed my entire name. I even added a second middle name.

That's a pretty cool name

I'm a firstborn so my parents both had names picked out. My mom wanted to go with Alexandria, Angelique, or Josephina. My dad went with my very common first name.

I like Alexandria or Josephine. I've always liked the name Damaris as well. The name Falco is cool.

I haven't ever thought much about it. I don't love my first name, but I don't dislike it enough to bother changing it.

What I didn't like about my name is that it is a nick name and so there was no way to shorten or personalize it. When picking my kid's names, I made sure to pick names they could turn into nick names or change around easily. But some people with names like Kathrine or Robert, that easily get turned into nick names hate it.

I've never liked my name but have never been able to pick one I think would be better. Luckily it's a versatile name so I go by a few different variations with different friends.

My middle name was a hindrance because people always mispronounced it. It came into acceptability a few years ago when someone became famous and had the same name. I always wanted to be a Mary Anne or Anna Banana. Didn't work out for me. At this point, I accept my name and made sure to give my kids names that would work well in many situations.

I changed it when I moved out on my own and didn't want to be contacted. My first name given at birth is very uncommon (named after a national park) and I love it, but I dropped it and started going by my very common, easy to not be found middle name.

When I was a teen I 'changed' it a few times, not for real, but I insisted everyone call me by another name. Usually something exotic but easier than my real name. If I changed it now, I'd go for really exotic like Ranitra or Shakira or Diandra or Jacaranda or Azaria or Illumi. Hmmm , I guess I really like names that end in an A, I never noticed that before.

You'd think I was named Sue or Kathy or Jill, but no, my given name is exotic & ends in an A LOL.

I had a horrible first, middle, and last name. They went bye-bye as soon as I turned 18 and could legally dump them. My father was beyond annoyed but my relatives understood that how those names could've killed my career.

My uncle did the same thing before he went to college.

And let's just say that I took a really long Romanian name and turned it into a nice, short American name like Jane Miller.
