This was 20 years ago so why bring it up now? Oh that's right.....she wants to cash in!
She wrote her book in 2012 and is wanting to get it translated into English now, her daughter will design the cover. What's wrong with wanting to get paid for a book, she was treated harshly ( she won her lawsuit in that regard) and still now people are brutally judgmental and hateful. She's obviously done a good job as a parent and raised a strong beautiful daughter.
Yeah, no sympathy from me. I never would have done it for certain anywhere.
We already had a thread on this, but not in the Parenting forum. It's a normal thing to do in Scandinavia. It never occurred to her that there could be people who would snatch the baby from in front of the restaurant window.

It's still been 20 years and she's STILL looking to cash in. She didn't win her entire lawsuit. She sued for 20 million and received $66,000 for being strip searched. Hardly a victory!
You don't know that her daughter is a strong person. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. You may think she's beautiful and someone else may think she's ugly. No one's beauty or strong was why she was arrested. She was arrested for breaking the law. And she's trying to capitalize on her law breaking actions.
If Denmark has such great laws, why is she living in Germany?

She lives in Germany with her husband, sheesh you don't have to hate your country just because you live in another country. I see nothing wrong with her wanting to cash in.
America didn't change. She was arrested and processed. Charges were dropped and she was let go. No big deal.
"No big deal"? She was strip-searched!
