Are any of you playing any fun, innocent April Fool's Day tricks on your kids?
If so, what are they?

My eldest daughter was a bit naughty this morning so I told her she had to clean the playroom.

After about 2 min. I yelled "April fools". She smiled at me, stopped cleaning, then said "Tomorrow is April Fools Day." I told her "I know keep cleaning!"

I emptied out half of a milk carton and put about 10 drops of yellow food coloring. When my wife goes to use it I'll tell her I forgot to throw it out. I travel a lot in the car and you know guys! No rest area around

I got this from Family Fun Magazine:

I'm going to make jello in juice glasses, with a straw stuck in before it sets. When the kids get up, I'll bring them their drinks.

One I tried last year and it almost worked was, I mixed up some baking soda and water making a paste and put it in the end of their toothpaste. It would have worked, but I made it it a little to thick and daughter thought it was dried out toothpaste and squeezed it out till the real toothpaste came out.

Short sheet their beds tomorrow night!!

Put kool-aid powder in the showerhead. I distinctly recall the shrieks from the purple water cascading over the prankee

Replace the cereal in the box with dried beans and act surprised too.
