Don't put the conditioner on the hair near the scalp. For long hair, you can usually start applying conditioner about 4-5 inches from the scalp and down the length of the hair concentrating in areas which have knots.
Thanks. But my hair only gets knotted if I let it get split ends. If I get my hair trimmed every few months, my hair doesn't knot.
