hello everyone, i found a house by milford PA, it doesnt have light gas heat, how does one go about putting it on before i move in? which companies are good to have for these things and will not over charge, help please?.

Hi Suarezric and welcome to the forum.
My guess would be to contact who ever is selling or renting this house to you and make arrangements with the local public utilities.
I'm not from the Pocono area - but I have some friends that are.
The scary part - on my part is to ask you how the home has been heated before you took possession of it.
If it has no heat in it right now, and after the cold snap we had last month, my first thoughts is going to be - how many pipes are frozen and burst in this house?
Usually when you buy a house, the previous owners or tenants leaves the utilities on after they leave or they revert the bills back into the landlords name until the next tenant comes along and takes over the bills - that way nothing happens to the house while it sits idle.
