Hi there..have you decided on a town? We are also relocating to Sayre and I have all of the same questions you do. : ) Please share anything you have found out about the area. The most confusing issue to me is the tax difference by living in NY and working in PA.

Well, we don't have to worry about the tax difference because we found a place in PA. But it's nowhere near Sayre because we found out my husband's commute to Towanda from Sayre would probably take about 35-40 minutes, not the 20-25 minutes it should take, due to increased traffic in Towanda.
I think what's most important is where you or your husband will be reporting to work. If it has anything to do with Marcellus Shale, then it't probably Towanda. If it isn't (maybe it has to do with the hospital in Sayre),then there are different criteria to watch out for.
Where will you/your husband be working? I can give you some tips on Sayre or the Towanda area, depending on the work location.
