He is not a crazy person who will go off on us Thata not the type of Felon he is. Like I said he did something stupid back then. I should have just worded my post different and ask how York PA is.

They do background checks on firearms purchases so if he has a violent felony conviction or history of drug use I think he'll be out of luck. I'd just get a cheap place in a rural area and then you won't need a gun.

Thank you this is what I looking for, I like where I am right now and when I research York I don't find anything out there. Even jobs are hard to find from what I research.

No. Felony convictions are prohibitive for possessing a firearm in PA. If he tries to buy one he could be in a lot of trouble. I would contact and attorney who is well versed in PA, and Federal gun laws to make sure.
