Meadville has a backwater vibe which isn't necessarily bad. Its kind of flat but has many streams and small lakes and lots of woodland. Warren has real forest and feels more isolated and has a big dammed lake. The downside is its on the old Route 6 and the touristy nature of that lets them raise prices. gas stations might get an extra ten cents for a gallon of gas for example.
I can see snowmobiling, cross country skiing, fishing hiking and hunting as big up that way.

There is a college in Meadville. There will possibly be some mask wearers, and other people doing things you don't care for. But it's a free country, right? Good luck with your list, but remember, there's no place like home.

There is a big segment that says they don't like masks because of "personal freedom" but at the same time don't want to be near anyone that wears one. You'd win an Olympic gold in mental gymnastics if you could ever figure out that logic...such as it is



In fact you can read more into this thread where someone refers to others as "snowflakes" but cannot stomach even being in the same town as someone with a different opinion. Unintended irony runs deep....
