My daughter and son-in-law will be going down to Pensacola around the middle of October to adopt a baby girl. They will have to stay in FL until all the paperwork is completed between Fl & GA courts. We are hoping to find some affordable housing for them with someone who would work with them as the date of the birth is undetermined, but they will go down there immediately when they get the call.

There are so many condos available on vrbo.com that I wouldn't worry about actual dates. Just pick out a few in your price range and then call them when the baby arrives to see if they will work with you. The listings on vrbo have availability calendars so do check those before you put one on your list.
The area has been very depressed economically, especially after the oil spill, so I'm sure there are plenty of owners out there willing to work with you, especially on Pensacola Beach.
