My father's name is: John Timothy Driscoll
DOB: 6/17/1927
Place of Birth: Buffalo NY

Last know residence: Harbor City, CA

I visited him in nursing home in Torrance, CA on 6/17/2013 and he was alive but his wife hid him and we are not able to find him.

We do not know if he died.

She is not cooperating and refuses to talk to his children.

We thank you if you could come up with any information if he is alive or dead

If he is dead there will be a death certificate and SS will know.

"John Timothy Driscoll" obit.

Search for him online by copying and pasting the way I have it above.

Or go to your local library and ask the reference employees to help you do a Social Security Death search. Your knowing his place of birth or parents should help with this. There are several people with that name and I don't know enough about him to know even if I found him.

You could also search the funeral homes in the towns you think may be associated with him. Most funeral homes have online obits.

I wonder if he is still alive because the little search I did brought up nothing associated with California.

He's not listed in the social security death index but it usually takes about six months before it will show up and that's if he was even reported. Being 86 yrs old he could be in a nursing home or assisted living.
