The average national credit score is 750. For comparison, the city with the best credit score is Minneapolis with 787 and the worst is Harlingen TX with 688. So yeah your credit score looks good. You can do a lot to increase it further.

Also what is a debt to credit ratio? Mine is 94% to 6% with the 6% being debt. Is that good and in what range do I want to keep that?
Hi
I think 720 is good credit score.

According to me, it is necessary to check your credit scores and even you need to manage them as well. If your credit report and score is managed well then it will help you to save money for future and reduce the cost of your future loans.

The formula for calculating your credit utilization ratio is a simple process. To figure it out for an individual card, divide your credit card balance by your available credit line. If you’ve only got one credit card and you’ve spent $400 out of a possible $2,000 this month, your debt-to-credit ratio is 20%.

While I was searching the information about all this stuff. I read that a good debt-to-credit ratio percentages should be below 30%.

As @rfr69 you are planning to buy rental properties you should maintain your credit score. Buddy I am sharing here some useful links hope these will help you.

You'll be fine with a credit score of 720. Banks will happily give you a mortgage (as long as you have the income to repay it, and the down payment money).

Be very conservative buying rentals. The repairs and vacant periods will cost more that first time landlords generally expect.

Study how to screen thoroughly in order to keep the bad tenants out.
