What is your real tax liability… how much do you pay per year with all taxes combined?

Federal Income Tax
State Income Tax
Social Security Tax
The employers share of Social Security that you pay for in lower wages.
Medicare Tax
The employers share of Medicare tax that you pay for in lower wages.
Corporate tax that you pay in the form of higher prices.
Gasoline Taxes
Property Taxes
Water taxes
Boating taxes
Hunting taxes
Fishing taxes
Taxes on off road vehicles
Animal license taxes
Electric service taxes
Vehicle Registration and License taxes
Unemployment taxes
The employers share of Unemployment insurance you pay in lower wages.
Sin taxes- tobacco, alcohol,
Federal Excise taxes
Taxes on Airfare
Taxes on Cab fare
Taxes on Hotels
Taxes on Rental Cars
Telephone Taxes
Just look at your cell phone bill. In addition to the state telecom tax, the city telecom tax and the state sales tax, there was the Regulatory Cost Recovery Charge, the Federal Universal Service Charge (whatever that is), the Franchise Tax Recovery Fee and the 911 Service Fee. Thirteen percent of my bill each month is not for the cost of making calls but rather for taxes.
Then there are the hidden taxes like the increase in Local, State, and Federal debt limits that eventually evolve into higher taxes.
These hidden taxes include subsidies to Mega Corporations, and Corporate Owned farming interests.
Now figure what all these taxes combined add up to as a percentage of your yearly income.
Now figure how much all these taxes impact someone making say $2 million a year and you will begin to see why the rich are getting richer, and the working class are sinking into the abyss.

For most, its over 50% of their income.

The old saying is that people spend most of their money on three things: inflation, taxation and buying crap to impress people who don't care about them.

Its true.

Aww but you see, the rich also look at taxes to make sure their hard earned dollar doesn't get scammed off by the government.
