I doubt if Hipaa protects the privacy of animals. Does your Macaw have to stand behind the taped line on the floor when waiting in queue at the Rx pickup window?
I wonder if the Macaw is building his credit to be able to purchase an upgraded cage?
Don't cosign for that bird, mate. She'll leave you high and dry.
My bird must have better credit than my dogs. The dogs never received credit cards in the mail.
But that is what makes me think they look at date of birth. My dogs are minors so they wouldn't qualify.
Hey, your dogs could pull the old "order 12 tapes for 99 cents and promise to buy so many more over so many years" dodge that kids used to do, just try with a credit card.
I doubt Walmart only sells the names of its animal customers. It's selling everyone's name and that is against HIPAA.
Either that or it is your vet but that makes even less sense since that would only be the names of pets and credit card companies are looking for humans, not animals.
One more reason to hate Walmart.
I know it isn't my vet, he writes pet prescriptions for the pet and my last name. It is the pharmacy that changes it to "Bird Macaw Mollie" and "Dog Collie Smokey." I think they put dog or bird in the name on the prescription so I can't turn it to my health insurance.
Did you give her a copy of your Christmas list? I haven't read the other posts yet but I can't help but think the pharmacy should not be selling a list of its customers, feathered or otherwise.

Try explaining that heartworm prescription to the health insurance.
i'm with you let your bird activate the card and give her the $2000 reward for being a good bird and let the pharmacy know that not only did they made a mistake and that there are some dumm a$$ working there lol.
