FXH: expense ratio = .70% NO dividends that I see
VGHCX: expense ratio = .35% (cheaper than FXH and better performance) and dividends
VHT: expense ratio = .14% and dividends
VHCIX: expense ratio = .14% and dividends
Good expense ratio, good performance.
I want to put about $20K in here and let it ride for about 10-25 years.
If I put it in there now and the market takes a dive, I just buy more shares cheaper.
Thanks for any input.

do you have other diversified holdings? bettiing the ranch on one sector is a specualtion not really an investment.
my opinion is the problem is healthcare had a pretty good run up after lagging behind especially the bio-tech sector . any slight regulatory change could send the sector into a long term tail spin after the huge run up it already had.
It depends on your personal risk tolerance. I personally don't invest in anything (anymore) that doesn't at least have a 20 year performance record. Usually I invest in proven funds with companies that have been around for decades. I expect an average return of 8-10% per annum over 25 years.
If your looking for more then this may be the answer because it has had good performance in relation to the market since its inception. Purely speaking for my situation though, I wouldn't. Also have you checked the turnover ratio for FXH? It was at 96% with the price consistently rising over the last year. Meaning a lot of people have bought and sold it over the last year. It may be close to its peak based on that.

This is just chasing performance with some cash I have sitting. My 401K and IRA is well diversified within index fund and asset allocated to meet my risk tolerance.
I am just chasing high performance mutual fund or ETF that performed well.
Healthcare has done well the pass 5 years. I figure why not risk big.

Yeah and so was technology, the internet and the dot coms. We all know what happened to them when prices of their stocks went beyond what they could ever earn.

Yes, you are correct. But healthcare, its a must! I think whats most important is that I don't put all my eggs in one basket. Healthcare is on fire!
healthcare was on fire , that ship sailed..the big gains most likely happened. now it is way to high.
