Timely... I just looked at our numbers again earlier today. Last time I had done them was April.
We're at #1.19mm. Unless the market does something really stupid we will hit $1.2mm in a couple of weeks (just from new influx of savings, not investment gains).

I had a big setback early dealing with the expense and career disruption of stage IV cancer at 23. I was medically barred from the career I trained for, and had to recalibrate. I complete a master's degree at the end of the year (paid for by my employer) and hope to increase my salary by 10-15K at least within the next year, though even 20K wouldn't be out of the picture considering my education and experience.
