What rent serfs tend to have in common is the expenditure of a disproportionate share of income on rent; people rarely build wealth when rent consumes half their income.

Allowing people to own tiny homes would allow them to escape rent serfdom, which would allow them to build wealth as their incomes rise. Rent serfs do not build wealth because rising rents consume their modest income gains and often more than that.

rent serfs = financial failures who failed at earning livable wages for whatever reason , not victims. unless you want to call them victims of themselves .

like i said , others , like those in real estate should not have to take a pay cut in what they do for a living that markets say is fair pay , so those who failed can be rewarded .

..

I'm a victim of the impaired use of property for which I pay a premium. If my use were not impaired - if i owned it - I could make much more money.

You are a victim mostly from your inability to acquire any skill that would allow you to move out of a most basic level minimum wage job and in addition to that the best skill you have perfected is excuse making. I can actually tell that your intellect isn't the problem as you have plenty it's something or multiple other issues that hold you back

ha ha ha ha , yeah all that has to happen is someone gives a minimum wage owner a home ...

i think someone should give me a rolls as long as we want to remove all the obstacles like having the resources needed to buy a home or rolls in advance of doing it . .

Romania has a home ownership rate in the neighborhood of 95%. The US is around 64%.

Apparently even financial failures in Romania can own homes. Maybe the rate depends on whether government is the problem or the solution?

BLS says that in 1998, about 3.1 percent indicated receiving their own home as a gift or inheritance, and about 3.2 percent indicated receiving other real estate as a gift or inheritance.

So it does happen to some extent.

Catcha-22, I have a self-employment skill that, if i had 400 sq ft of live work space, I could vastly increase my income. There are (at least) dozens of people making money doing the same thing on eBay, Amazon, their own websites and ecommerce platforms, etc.
