I love when my two bumbling silly cats knead on the couch. It's so fun to watch them get so into it, and they get mad if they get interrupted by sounds etc. They will sometimes knead on the dog, who also doesn't care.
The dog is kind of independent - when we're all in the living room he'll go in his crate and lays down, even though we have a nice dog bed for him. He just likes peace & quiet. I love when our big kitty (named Devastator) watches TV with us, it's hilarious. <3 it!
The newest member of my family, Mamma Kitty, has recently learned that it's "entertaining" to follow me into the "powder room". She jumps into the bathtub immediately and runs around in it until I'm done. When it's time to leave and I turn off the light, she knows it's time to stop playing in the tub and follows me out. She finds something new all the time that just melts my heart.
had to chuckle at pierce's post... i have not been to the bathroom by myself in my own home for over 6 years now.... usually at least one cat and one or both dogs have to tag along.....
i have TRIED telling them that i am perfectly capable of taking care of business myself and that i PROMISE i am not gonna fall in .... but they just have to be absolutely sure.....
This morning, I sat down at my computer and stretched.
As I stretched my arms up, I happened to look over and saw that both of my birds raised their wings at the same time, stretching, with me!
How cute is that?
When the alarm goes off in the morning, my labrador pokes his nose in my face and licks me... then he lays down across me and turns his belly toward me for his morning belly rub.
He loves his momma....

When I wake up in the morning and open my eyes I look over at Bella. As soon as she sees me looking at her, she crawls up the bed, lays her head in my hand and closes her eyes. I can just feel the love.
