Now that summer is winding down, it's time to take a look back. Here's a list of all the 90-degree days in Philadelphia sorted by temperature:

Philadelphia had 51 days of 90-degree heat this summer, 17 days of 95-degree heat, and two days of 100-degree heat. The maximum temperature was 103, set on July 7. This is the hottest maximum temperature since 1995, which also had a maximum of 103.

That certainly explains my relatively unproductive summer! I don't have AC, but had planned to get my house ready to sell...and didn't do much at all.

Can't wait for the cool fall and hoping for a snowy winter,

This summer sucked. I have no tan this year, because it was too hot and humid to even go to the pool. I sure hope this is an anomaly, just like the snowy winter was. I can't take these extremes.

Thanks for the stats....just proves my first sentence. LOL

You know what would be another interesting way to sort it? In chronological order, which will show how many sustained periods of hot/humid weather we had....or should I say, how FEW nice summer days we had.
