I noticed Yardley high school is actually in Fairless Hills & Yardley does not have high school.
1)Should this be a concern if we are planning to move into Yardley.
2)How far is this from Yardley - best case, worst case scenario depending on where you stay from yardley.
3)How is this school?

It's because Fairless Hills is also Pennsbury school district, and thats where they decided to put the high school. It's not a reason for concern. From the furthest end of Yardley it's about 10-15 minutes to the high school. And yes, it's very good - it's not a "fairless hills high school", it's Pennsbury high school, so same rankings as you've seen when you've previously looked up the Pennsbury school district. It's just the location of the school, nothing else.

I would go visit before making a decision. We were set on Yardley after seeing the great neighborhoods. But after we drove out to the high school we changed our minds about Yardley. All depends on what your are comfortable with I suppose.

ColdupNorth- You changed your mind about Yardley due to the location of the high school? What town did you end up buying in?

Yes they have an east and a west - they are two buildings next to each other. One building is for 9/10th grades, the other is for 11/12th.

I attended Pennsbury, and live in Yardley now. I would not hesitate to recommend either. Yardley is an idyllic place to live...but every convenience is ten minutes away, and I can make Center City in 30 minutes.
