At least a few years back there were definate plans to close that base. What's going on there these days? I'm out of state but I'd like to know if there are any future plans for all that prime land.

nope. nimbys made a big fuss, and now a perfectly good airstrip, a regional asset, is being left to rot.

Its closed.. Been closed for a while now.. But there is a redevelopment plan..
