Some positive news for Walnut Street. The biggest missing link is the huge hole that remains on the 1700 block.

There's no reason why that can't be the case again.
Why did this effort stop? Is it still in place just not enforced, or the rule expired?

I heard through the rumor mill that Nike is opening a full-line store on Walnut Street! No concrete details yet, but exciting if true.

Good news. For all the doom and gloom about the direction of Center City there is a lot of momentum on Walnut Street right now. Feels like the best situation for the street in the last five years or so.

Hopefully the Floyd Lots on Walnut Street get a project announcement soon; preferably a 600'+ residential project.

The momentum continues: Parachute Home is coming to the old Free People space.
