HI

I just passed my PA Real Estate Exam and need advice on where is the best Real Estate Company to work for in Philadelphia or Pa suburbs that doesn't charge a lot of monthly fees. Any advice on what to expect, what to do next, etc.? Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Congrats! Haha, I'm actually going to take the test this weekend....Any advice on studying for the state portion?

I honestly can't help you with where to work but I do know that you have 3 years from the date you passed the exam to find somewhere.

You're in luck. I currently have two jobs and one of them happens to be in the Real Estate industry. I'd advise looking for a job in the city. Center city and surrounding areas are HOT right now. The suburbs are lagging a little and the market is still shaky. I'd avoid. As far as I'm concerned, Prudential Fox & Roach and Coldwell Banker are the best in Philadelphia. I'd get in contact with a bunch of different brokers. Try getting into rentals first until you understand the market better. Rentals tend to be a more steady income. Selling a house takes a long time and it's not an easy process. I'd get experience in the rental market first. Another option, is to get in contact with developers like Dranoff properties or Tower Invesments. They generally tend to bring in more money, and you can work you're way up to higher paying jobs working for a developer (like interior designer or you can get experience to become a developer yourself one day. Hope this helped! Don't wanna give away too many secrets though. I don't want competition
