A mini Queens would be preferable to a new North Philly.

The report also mentions a big rise in poverty in Roxborough/Manayunk. I'm hoping that's not the beginning of a big slide downward.

They mention that the rise in poverty in Roxborough/Manayunk is actually skewed data because of large influxes of students moving into the area.

I'd like to see the stats by neighborhood that are creating that increase in the Lower Northeast. Id imagine that Fox Chase is an outlier and more on par with the Far Northeast than sections like Frankford or Oxford Circle.

Very true, Manayunk is continuing its improvement. Very popular area for college kids, who depend on their parents for money... I guess it would be hard to fix that data since it would have to be traced back to college kids reliance on parents income.

I live in the "lower" NE. It's not nearly as bad as the commenters on Philly.com say ha ha.
