Which route is better:
76 to the stadium,
or 476 to 95 to the stadium?

Google Maps shows 476 to 95 as being shorter timewise but longer in miles, but I've always gone down 76 in that area. This would be Wednesday to the One Direction concert, probably between 5:00 and 6:00 p.m. Thanks!

I try to avoid 76 whenever possible. A little traffic + an accident = an extra half hour onto your journey. I'd take 95 if I were you, 76 has screwed me too many times.

For the love of god, avoid 76 at all costs

76 is not bad depending when you are driving.

I'd be driving between 4:00 and 5:00 p.m. tomorrow to the One Direction concert. I'm guessing that's bad at that time due to rush hour? I expect it to be congested near the stadium due to the concert traffic, but I'd like to avoid as much congestion as possible for as long as possible. Looks like it'll be 476 to 95!

Thanks for the input, everyone!

476 to 95 is the way to go at rush hr, but that's no picnic either.

Both ways suck, but 476 to 95 sucks less.

without doubt the better route albeit a few miles longer is 9 times out of ten faster and even if not only by a few minutes

an alternative is the Conshy or Radnor RR line to the Broad Street subway

but if driving the whole way take 476 to 95 North without a doubt

Thanks. Subway's out. I just don't want to deal with the crowds after the concert.

Thanks again, everyone, for your input.

I know all about longer but faster. When we travel south, we avoid 95 and take 81 to 64 to below Richmond, which is about 50 miles longer but often faster than staying on 95 below DC!
