Greetings all, this is my first time on these forums so I hope I'm in the right place. But for what I'm looking for is a place that me and a girl I'm hanging out with tomorrow (Fri night) can go. Any and all suggestions are welcome but I do have a limited budget as I'm a poor college student.

We went to Harbor Park last Friday which was a really nice time. So I guess I'm looking for a place that is fun/has a great environment and relatively cheap. I lived at Temple for 3 years and am in center city now but I haven't explored the city much so I don't have a wealth of knowledge of different places to take a female. Again, any suggestions are welcome, thanks!

Take her to a BYO restaurant -- there are a ton in South Philly and some are very cheap.

Hang out in Rittenhouse.

Look at Uwishunu and find events going on, especially festivals and block parties.

Picnic on the Schuylkill.

Take a bus and hike in Wissahickon Park.

Find a good happy hour somewhere.

There are tons of things to do.

The speakeasy style bars tend to be popular for couples (Hopsing Laundromat or Randstead Room are my favorites).

I think the Curtis institute has free recitals on Fridays (I have never been so I can't vouch).

Northbowl in nolibs is fun. Then you can dance at the nearby 700 club.
