For your age I would suggest West Chester or maybe Phoenixville...they have more night life than Media and a younger more upscale crowd also. West Chester also puts you on the 202/322 corridor for trips to DE.

Phoenixville is the new hip spot...its still on the way up so it may have less amenities than Media/WC but it will also be cheaper, offer nicer apts for the money and has a "cool factor".

Ardmore, overpriced and too much like city living for my taste...kind of grungy, not a very scenic business district, rough sections...not my cup o' tea I guess.

You should also consider Manayunk and Conshohocken tho as they were first in the wave of regentrification, they will be overpriced, but also full of young folks and lots of night life...you really can't go wrong with any of them, just a matter of how much apt for your money you'd like to get and how close to DE you need to be...

Default Garnet Valley

We live in Garnet Valley (zipcode 19061) and it is a great area. Good school district, near plenty of shopping, especially in Delaware, family friendly...
Plenty of new homes too. We would recommend the area.

Yeah but the homes in that are also very expensive and spread out/semi rural...they are looking for a tight nit town center...Glen Mills doesn't have that...

I would have to say Media and West Chester...West Chester is bigger and has had a real renaissance in fine dining lately...

Are there any new or recently built in the past couple of years, Townhomes or High Rise Condo/Apts in West Chester, PA or in vicinity?
