Big changes coming to the stretch of Delaware between Washington and Dickinson:

Big changes planned at S. Philly

I'm all for human-scale development, but I don't know how effective this will really be when it fronts such a large, unwieldy, ramshackle street. Still, every little bit helps.

Especially if some of the developments are on the water side, seems flooding could be a big issue.
I think it would help the city economically overall to develop anyway because enough people will still want to live around there. It's also a convenient location that is definitely underdeveloped. With the development, there will probably be more traffic and maybe Waze will no longer use this as a potential back way to get to a downtown city destination.

I love this project - long time in coming in my opinion. If Liberty on the River (https://www.bartonpartners.com/proje...-on-the-river/), across the street from the Riverview project, comes to fruition, that section of Pennsport might be the next destination spot. A lot of "ifs" but encouraging none-the-less.

And if number three on this list https://philly.curbed.com/maps/delaw...pment-projects gets built, that would make this area incredibly vibrant. I should note that something is happening on this plot of land as all the underbrush has been cleared and there is activity on the location.
