Frankford is safe, during the day Kensington is safe. After midnight, Kensington is not safe to drive through just because it seems all the on the street shootings etc happen in the wee small hours...

Keep your doors locked and you should be fine. It's not like you'll be gunning your engine through a shower of bullets.

Driving, yes. Walking, no.

I had to go to the Frankford section of town to a party I was doing and I was glad it was over before night hit. That place is a shady looking area and I wouldn't want to live there or visit again...

Will it be at night? During the day, I'd say keep your wits about you and try to park close, just to be safe. At night, I'd try to pick her up and go out somewhere. Mainly I'd be nervous about parking my car and leaving it on the street. Jasper's not that far off of Kensington or Frankford, so I don't think the situation would change that much.

I drove through for an evening viewing and morning funeral in Port Richmond and had no problems.

Park under a streetlight and use The Club!

Can someone tell me what are the safe places to live in Philadelphia? I have three young adult children ages from 18 to 21.
