I've got to admit that the Yankees outplayed us. It was still a wonderful season and there is next year to look forward to. Go Eagles!

Yankees were the better team. A deeper bullpen, for sure, but they were also more a lot more tactical in running the bases and were able to capitalize on any mistakes the Phillies made.

It also helped the Yankees that Chase Utley is the only one on the Phillies who remembered to bring his bat.

That's OK though, the Phillies have given us 3 great seasons in a row and I have no doubt they'll be in the post-season again next year. I'm already making plans to see them down in Clearwater.

Alittle tweaking and some power coming off the bench and they'll be stronger then this year. Howard might Santa for a wider bat.

Well, they were due. Lord only knows who else little Steiny would've bought this offseason and how many private islands he'd offer him had they not won.
