I am going to start communting for work daily 9 to 5. Since I live in S Brunswick I thought one option is to drive to Trenton and take the SEPTA.
The other option is to drive.

Anyone commuting similarly?
People who would know please advise what will be my best commuting option. I did th I-95 once in the ruch hour and it was a parking lot.
Is taking 295 a better option?
If take Trenton Septa route what am I looking at time wise door to door.

Appreciate inputs since I need to decide quickly.

On SEPTA's R7 line, it would take about 50 minutes from Trenton to 30th Street.

I don't know the answer to the second question. But if you're willing to take NJ Transit one stop from Hamilton, I know their parking facilities are massive and appear to be safe.

To answer the first question... it depends. A map website predicts just over an hour commute from South Brunswick to Philly, largely on I-95 or I-295. Add to that the "bonus" of paying for at least $10/day in parking once you arrive in Philly.

You're better off driving to the Cornwells Heights station on the R7 or to one of the R3 stations like Woodbourne or Langhorne - it'll save you money on parking and on the monthly passes (Zone 3 or 4 as opposed to Zone 6 or 7) and the stations will be easier to get to than Trenton Station.

Buy a weekly pass and try each line for a week.
