How many are you aware of?
What are they?
How did you discover them?
When was the last "time" you discovered "one"?

Whatever else related.

Freud talked about the ID, EGO & SUPER EGO as well as the conscious, subconscious & unconscious mind.

People have to have a clear head to understand their own mind. Think of yourself as a computer with its own operating system. If your hardware is perfect, you can tweak your software which is your self awareness.

there are 3 self's

the self you think (expect) exists (which is the illusion of freewill)
the self you feel (self image)
the self you know (true self)

thinking results from fuzzy logic
feeling results from inductive reasoning
knowing results from deductive reasoning

granpa,
Don't forget about the false self and the alter ego. The human mind plays tricks on all of us. Few can understand the mind of a man who plays tricks on the mind to humble another man.

I can suspend myself in a state I guess it is just between awake and asleep. It is very peaceful. Have you ever been so tired you can hardly keep your eyes open, you shake your head to chase off the sleep.

Or you may even be aware of it just as you fall asleep. Years ago, I would intentionally make myself exhausted. Then rather then lay down and fall asleep, I would sit into a position where as I fell asleep, I would start to fall and wake up again. I could reach this state, most often at my keyboard. Or closer to the floor is safer, in the event you don't catch yourself and wake up. lol.

Strange things you learn about people you don't even know.
