Even if you don't believe in this story, just go along with it for the sake of discussion....

Who do you believe was at fault for what went wrong, Adam or Eve?

Both had some fault but I place more blame on Eve since she initiated the act by biting first.

Please take put this in the Religion forum instead of assuming everyone here comes from a judeo-christian background and knows who these two myths were. You will find like minded people there

I don't think either of them can be held truly responsible. Before they ate the apple they had no concept of right and wrong. They literally couldn't know it was a bad thing to do.

God.

1. He planted the seeds of curiosity in their minds when he forbid them to take fruit from the tree.
2. Everyone knows that one of best ways to ensure someone does something is to forbid them from doing whatever that something is.
3. He wanted them to remain ignorant, innocent, and pure. He can't SERIOUSLY have expected that to last.

I was inspired to make this thread because of the Petraeus affair. I started wondering who is to blame, Petraeas, the mistress, P's wife or someone else? It reminded me of the Adam and Eve predicament.
