Adam knew right from wrong of that there is no question.
Eve also understood the directive God issued, repeating it to the serpant .
It would be fraudulant to say they did not know right form wrong because thay had a choice and behaved to some degree untill the serpant lied, and they choose to buy it .
Just like people today choose second hand information from that of men, rather than seeking God .
Intellectuals argue, not having spent one moment with God ,but a child that has learned to listen and obey, is their supirrior in God's sight .
It is not what you know, but whom you obey.
The danger of the tree of knowledge is the illusion of equality with God ,simply look are your independent attitude and answer it for your self.
God is looking for those the will love Him ,
that devotion warrents special attention . Not the compromise to sin men lust, but the instruction for life and intervention when it counts .
Giving Jesus Lordship demonstrates to God you are sinscere, being faithful in that devotion deepens the relationship.
God is a person whom knows your heart , and want's to teach you him self .
Only cowards prefir second hand tutelage of men ,hoping to hide claming ignorance an blaming their chosen teachers .
God is not going to buy it .. He provided Jesus and Jesus provided the Holy Spirit to teach in His place, not men. the disciples were comissioned to proclame the gospel that's all . This is based on what Jesus said. not on what men have said .

Adam was at fault, Genesis chapter 3 verse 6 puts the blame on Adam. He was there with Eve when she ate the apple (lack of concern/love/care for Gods gift to him) and he made no attempt to stop her. He then added a cherry on top with his attempt shift the blame to Eve and God for his sin.

God's fault for giving the serpent the ability to reason, and talk.
Where did this snake gets it's knowledge?
From god?

There was no win, as it was a set up by god.

This makes for a nice story to convey the meaning of sin to the kids.

I agree with this.

But if it was someone's fault, I think they are both equally guilty.

The serpent tempted Eve and she gave into the temptation. The Eve tempted Adam and he gave in into the temptation.

Techinically, they both could have refused when presented with the temptation, they both knew the rules.

But they BOTH gave in, they BOTH couldn't/didn't refuse.

Why would it be just Eve's fault? If Adam was stronger and told Eve "no thank you", then we could have blamed Eve. But he didn't...

OR

it was God's fault. He should have known the power of temptation would be too great. It's like putting a cookie in front of the two year old and then telling him "don't touch" and then expecting him to not touch. But we all know better, don't we? Didn't God know that too?

PLUS

disobedience is "evil"... so how could they have known evil (behaved in an evil fashion) before even tasting the tree of knowledge of good and evil? It sounds a bit like a paradox

A&E are fictional characters developed to fill in one of the many many gaps of ignorance, specifically, where did "people" come from.

Today with these gaps of knowledge filled in with facts, to cling to this ancient ignorance is the ultimate stupidity. If there is one fact I cannot get my head around, is that approximately 40% of people in the US still believe in A&E and that the earth is only 6000 to 10000 years old.

According to some...God controls and plans everything. He knows what is going to happen..always.

Therefore, neither one was to blame. It was all the Big Guy's doing. Adam and Eve didn't have a chance. Right?
