Does anyone know where you can get a copy of a passport certified in the West Valley? I need it to open a bank account and I am hoping it won't be too expensive.

Thanks

So you have a copy of your passport, but not the original, and no other ID?

I don't think anyone will "certify" a copy of a passport except the agency that issued it. If you are a foreign national, I'd contact your nearest consulate or embassy and ask them.

Okay. I googled "certified passport copy bank account" and "how to get certified copy passport" and got some hits, which I didn't click on but they raise a question. Are you trying to open a FOREIGN bank account? If so, you might get some answers with those same Google searches. It seems like it may be something that you can't do locally.

Thanks for all your help, I am trying to open a foreign bank account, even though we already have a bank account with them they still require a certified copy of our passports. I have just called Bank of America and it seem that they can certify for us.

Thanks again for your help.
