Just found out that HOA does not allow boats or rvs to be parked even in your side yard if they can be seen above the fence. Going to be my first and last HOA. Anyhow, wondering if anyone could recommend a rv/boat storage in east valley, preferably east mesa/aj. Needs to be enclosed, no outside covered stuff. For those of you who currently rent one, what are your monthly fees? Thanks in advance

That sucks that you found out AFTER you got your house. No RV's is precisely why I didn't buy in an HOA. It's funny how many homes have RV gates but you can't have and RV. Go figure.
There are many storage facilities around here but I don't know of any enclosed facilities unless you rent a commercial building. I could be wrong of course. Happens all the time. lol.

Why is covered not enough? I don't know of anywhere that advertises garage storage for RVs. what size do you need?

You could try a place like this, but it's probably more than your mortgage. Welcome to GarageTown Arizona- Garage Condominiums for cars, boats, rv's, collector cars, business storage, Chandler, Ocotillo, Sun Lakes, Scottsdale, Tempe, Ahwatukee, Mesa Storage

As in, a garage? I think I'd call self-storage yards.

By "enclosed" what exactly do you mean? It wouldn't be "enclosed" in your side yard, either, except by your fence, or covered, either, unless you were able to build something.

Yup, doesn't make sense to me to have a 50k boat sitting out where the sun and dust storms can destroy it. In Utah, most rv storage places were inside garages for about 100 per month. Seems from the scant research I have done, that you pay double that here

Ya, but it would be free on the side of my yard and i could rig up a sunbrella type covering that extends from the house, over the boat to the fence. If I am going to pay to have it stored, I would rather it inside a storage garage

you'll find some things are quite a bit more around here. I think it's because everything is so new, the prices are still paying down the debt to open.

Your HOA would've loved that.

You can store it in my side yard, sunbrella and all, for $150/month.
