Hello, Everyone

my sister and I recently moved to Phoenix from Little Rock Arkansas back in Feb, The weather was bearable until the summer months came, but I decided to still stick it out here. well this past august I went back home to visit my parents for a few weeks. All the sudden my mouth is feeling dry, and I feel dehydrated pretty much feeling like crap, I found myself drinking more and more water. (which is my fault because I drink about 2 glass of water a day and the rest of the day juice, sodas and teas, yes a bad habit I've had for many years now) My question is has anyone every felt like this when dealing with climate change?

Yes. In the early months of the year when I travel to the mid-west I feel my body becoming numb and turning shades of blue and purple. Also a lot of shivering. I have no idea why my body is reacting this way.

It's not climate change - it's just dehydration. It can happen anywhere, but particularly during the summer.

I used to visit Arkansas every summer. I have never been so miserable in all my life due the humidity. I did not stop sweating for the entire time - day and night. I guess it is what one is used to.

I moved from Tucson to Fort Smith a few years ago. In the summer. The humidity was a big difference. Dehydration occurs in both places, just in one place your sweating is ineffective.

I noticed than when it was dry in AZ nasal passages are more likely to dry out. Didn't notice it in AR.

My wife complained ad naseum about her hair in AR. With the exception of the summer monsoon, it was always much easier, albeit static-prone, to style in AZ.

I once made the move directly from Tucson to Florida. It was interesting to say the least.

The dry heat was much more comfortable because you didn't sweat, however the radiant heat of the sun in Arizona is much worse.

In Florida there was more chance of cloud cover and due to the trees there was a lot more shade. However, if you could find shade in Arizona it was much more comfortable than things were in Florida.

I described Arizona as walking out into the heat from your house and getting smacked in the face with a ping pong paddle.

I described Florida as having a giant ubiqitious dog panting and slobbering on you all the time.

And now in Chickasha you have the best of both worlds... It's hot out, but at least it's humid.
