Hi all I am breaking up my deck around the pool since it needs to be replaced. I was wondering if anyone is familiar of a place where I can take all of this broken up concrete?

I know the dump in south phoenix will take it but I am not sure if the facility off of Dixileta and & I17 does? Also does anyone know of companies that will take it that recycle it? I live near 67th ave & Deer Valley so the closer the better.

Thanks in advance!

The north phoenix (dixileta) transfer station will take anything in pickup-sized quantities.

If youve got a substantial quantity of material, there are some "inert" landfills that take cement, dirt & rocks (nothing green) at a lower cost than "regular" trash.

Ive found its less expensive to hire out hauling off inert materials than to try to remove it by hand. I had 40 tons of old landscaping rock hauled away last year for $150 per four-ton load, and that included a guy with a bobcat, truck & trailer loading it & hauling it away.

Yea I can haul it and load it the problem is where to take it. I am really not looking to pay to have someone take it. I would prefer to find someone that is looking for infill that isnt too far away.

The dumps charge $38 per ton and the Waste Management dump near 7th Ave & loop 101 takes clean concrete for $15 per ton. I am not sure what they consider clean. I mean the concrete I am breaking up is clean it has some dirt that stuck to the bottom of it but otherwise its clean.

"Clean" is nothing that will rot.. no stumps, roots, or green stuff.. dirt is fine..
